As the K120 hill had lost its homologation, there begun a search for a sponsor for the modernization of the hill. After some time, it was decided that Whiskas will fund most of the works in exchange for becoming the title sponsor of the hill. The new hill, with ultra-safe profile, had been completed in 2011 after some construction delays and held its first World Cup competition in 2012. The World Cup competitions have been held yearly since then. Jena has also been awarded the organization of the 2023 Nordic World Ski Championships which will be held on the HS106 and HS143 hills.
