It is a large fictional hill in the village of Kowalowa Historia: Kowalowa covers an area of 11.5 km2. The village of Kowalowa - founded under German law - probably existing since 1301, belonged to the parish of Ryglicz, founded at the beginning of the 14th century by the Sulim family. The name of the village is a patronymic, probably derived from the name of the owners of the village in the Middle Ages - Kowalewski.
