Fly hill in Kowalowa.A village on the northern edge of the Carpathian Foothills, in the area of Pogórze Ciężkowickie, by the Szwedka stream and its tributaries (in the southern part) and partly by the tributaries of the Wolanka stream (in the northern part). It borders Joniny from the west, Wola Lubecka and Lubcza from the north, Jodłowa (Jodłowa commune) to the east, and Swoszowa (Szerzyny commune) to the south. The hills in the village are: Królówka (341 m above sea level), Gilowa Góra (508 m above sea level), Berkówka Mountain (in the north-eastern part of the village). Kowalowa covers an area of 11.5 km².
