Bavallsbakken in Voss was inaugurated in 1953 and became an important ski jumping venue. In 1955 and 1964 the Norwegian championships were held here. The competition was watched by over 10,000 spectators
After the old Bavallsbakken was abandoned, a completely new hill was built a few meters away in 1977. In the mid-90s the hill received FIS homologation and in 1996 the COC competition was organized in Voss.
For the NM 2012 the hill was enlarged to K95 HS103.
In 2018, the renovation of the decaying ski jump began - new Mana tracks and new balustrades were installed. In 2023 the hill was enlarged from K95 (HS105) to K105 (HS118)
