The normal hill of Olsztyn ski jumping facility located near Jezioro Długie. It lies 2 kilometers north-west from the city centre. Its design was inspired by some historic buildings in the central part of Olsztyn.
Lore: The construction of the venue started in May 1996, after decision of Polish Ski Association to make ski jumping more popular after the first Adam Małysz's World Cup victory. It took 2 months to dig up a hole at the hill's location, as that region of Poland is quite flat. The hill was opened on 5 April 1998, when the unofficial inauguration competition won by Robert Mateja was organized.
Hill made in collaboration with aleksiq. Big thanks!
