Description

The newly modernized Granåsen large hill for the Trondheim 2025 World Ski Championships.

The first jumps at Granåsen took place in 1940. The former hill was rebuilt for the NM 1970, which was organized together with Meldal. In 1977, the largest Granåsen hill was rebuilt again and received plastic mats. In 1984, Trondheim hosted the Junior World Ski Championships. The history of the Granåsen large hill dates back to 1990, when a modern large and normal hill complex was built to replace the old K78 hill. Since then, Trondheim has regularly hosted World Cup events, and hosted the World Ski Championships in 1997 and 2025.
